SITE SUPERVISOR


Position: Full-Time | Weekdays


Join our dynamic construction team as a Site Supervisor and play a pivotal role in shaping the residential construction landscape! In this key position, you’ll oversee sub-trades and co-workers, ensuring the pursuit of excellence in building standards and building code compliance while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. With duties that range from managing project schedules to facilitating client visits and municipal inspections, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our projects are executed efficiently, fostering client satisfaction and contributing to the continual improvement of our operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise sub-trades and co-workers;
  • Document site conditions, activity and progress;
  • Maintain quality standards and building code compliance;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and secure work site;
  • Ensure site preparedness for sub-trades and deliveries;
  • Verify material quantities;
  • Resolve project and job site challenges with the Project Coordinator;
  • Manage project schedules with the Project Coordinator;
  • Identify and create solutions to plan errors and omissions;
  • Assist in managing client expectations;
  • Assist in coordinating material deliveries;
  • Supervise client visits;
  • Participate and guide municipality inspections;
  • Pre-delivery inspections;
  • Contribute to continual improvement of company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years experience residential construction;
  • 3 years experience full-time residential construction supervising;
  • Well maintained vehicle;
  • Smart phone;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Skilled trade certificate, college diploma or university degree;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Multitasking skills;
  • Time-management skills;
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written;
  • In depth understanding of the residential construction process;
  • In depth understanding of residential framing and finish carpentry;
  • In depth understanding of the building code is an asset.
  • Carpenter’s license is an asset;
