RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise sub-trades and co-workers;
  • Document site conditions, activity and progress;
  • Maintain quality standards and building code compliance;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and secure work site;
  • Ensure site preparedness for sub-trades and deliveries;
  • Verify material quantities;
  • Resolve project and job site challenges with the Project Coordinator;
  • Manage project schedules with the Project Coordinator;
  • Identify and create solutions to plan errors and omissions;
  • Assist in managing client expectations;
  • Assist in coordinating material deliveries;
  • Supervise client visits;
  • Participate and guide municipality inspections;
  • Pre-delivery inspections;
  • Contribute to continual improvement of company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years residential custom home construction or renovation full-time project coordinating;
  • Proficiency in construction plan interpreting;
  • Estimating experience;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Multitasking;
  • Time-management;
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written;
  • Knowledge of the residential construction process;
  • Administrative experience is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the building code is an asset;
  • University degree or college diploma.
