This backyard deck was made to give an ordinary home an impressive edge and to give more space for some quality family time, especially with a screened-in enclosed porch. By using western red cedar, this structure is sturdy, stable, secure and resilient to the elements. The subtle elegance and charm of this space is made possible with custom-painted black joist and beam hangers, as well as the colonial style rafter and beam ends. The attention to detail is seen in the deck’s support through aluminum helical piles that we’ve kept hidden by cedar columns – the perfect way to offer the least disruptive foundation installation. Cedar decking is also used as rod sheathing. Wood structures are timeless in their elegance and prestige, which is why we handle such projects with utmost care and refined attention to detail.
