Glebe Bathroom Renovation
Bathrooms seem straightforward, but when it’s time to renovate, redesign, and rebuild, they can become some of the most demanding (and rewarding) projects around. This space involved significant work, but came together beautifully for a stunning, relaxing finished product. As we were moving the location of the vanity and original tub, we had an opportunity to add a bit of space, raising the ceiling height by a full foot, made possible by relocating the plumbing into the joist cavities.
We replaced the existing window with privacy glass, stepped back strategically from the tub to prevent direct water splashing from the shower head. Finally, we installed the thermostatic valve on the long wall, along with a custom shower niche, to put the finishing touches on this beautiful space.
- Replaced severed joists, reinforcing entire space
- Spray-foamed exterior walls, exceeding industry standards
- Created custom shower niche with seamless tilework
- Moved vanity and tub from the original location
- Replaced flooring structure and installed radiant heating
- Existing window replaced and sealed professionally
